Two Teenagers Arrested Following Ruddington Knife Incident

Nottinghamshire Police are investigating after a disturbance in Ruddington this week during which it’s alleged two teenage boys chased and menaced two girls with a knife. It’s been confirmed the house-builder currently constructing 175 new houses on almost sixteen acres of Ruddington’s former Green Belt south of Musters Road has breached its planning conditions for the second time in just over a year. Refurbished Ruddington Visitor Centre & Café Opens

The major work which started in January to upgrade the lakeside Education Centre and its associated facilities in Rushcliffe Country Park is now complete. Man Arrested and Stolen Ruddington Car Recovered

A man has been arrested after police spotted and followed a car which was suspected of being stolen. Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s operational support unit noticed that a Vauxhall Astra, which was travelling in the Clifton area during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 1 October 2022), was displaying false number plates. The driver then tried to evade police and failed to stop. A short time later the car came to a halt in Village Road and a man was detained. Police checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen from Ruddington in August.…

Neighbourhood Officers from Nottinghamshire Police have been in Ruddington again this afternoon carrying out speed checks on traffic entering our village along Wilford Road. Despite the 30mph limit now starting sooner, due to the new Bloor Homes development, with even a flashing sign to alert motorists to their speed as they pass Sellors’ Playing Field, they report that three vehicles were recorded still doing in excess of 35 mph along the main, built-up stretch.
