Police are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward after two separate incidents at a Ruddington allotments within just three weeks. ‘Hareham Gardens Allotments’, at the corner of Musters Road and Asher Lane, was first targeted on the night of November 24th/25th after several sheds were broken into and tools reportedly worth around £500 stolen from one of them. Today police announced they have charged Valdo Calocane, a 31-year-old man of no fixed address, with three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder following the early morning attacks in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday (13th June 2023). 19-year-old University of Nottingham students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar were fatally stabbed in Ilkeston Road just after 4am and, later, 65-year-old school caretaker Ian Coates was found fatally stabbed in Magdala Road. Man Arrested and Stolen Ruddington Car Recovered

A man has been arrested after police spotted and followed a car which was suspected of being stolen. Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s operational support unit noticed that a Vauxhall Astra, which was travelling in the Clifton area during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 1 October 2022), was displaying false number plates. The driver then tried to evade police and failed to stop. A short time later the car came to a halt in Village Road and a man was detained. Trio Arrested Following Ruddington Van Theft

Three suspected thieves have been caught, and two stolen vehicles recovered, after what Nottinghamshire Police are calling “fantastic police teamwork”. A police pursuit through Ruddington this morning ended up in a two car collision in our village centre. It’s understood officers spotted a vehicle which was being driven suspiciously through the Lenton area and began tailing it as it approached Ruddington. There were dramatic scenes in Ruddington last night when a police chase ended up in a village centre cul-de-sac. An eye witness reported to RUDDINGTON.info that an unmarked police car followed a vehicle into St Peter’s Crescent, but the driver didn’t realise it was a dead end.
