Today police announced they have charged Valdo Calocane, a 31-year-old man of no fixed address, with three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder following the early morning attacks in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday (13th June 2023). 19-year-old University of Nottingham students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar were fatally stabbed in Ilkeston Road just after 4am and, later, 65-year-old school caretaker Ian Coates was found fatally stabbed in Magdala Road. Tributes Paid to Parkrun Volunteer

A familiar face has been missing from the Junior Parkrun at Rushcliffe Country Park this year – that of Neil Breward – who only in November was celebrating volunteering at the weekly, Ruddington event for the 100th time. Tributes to Ruddington Golf Club Owner

The funeral is taking place this week of John Pownall – the man who has owned Ruddington Grange Golf Club for almost a quarter of a century. He died peacefully in hospital on the 2nd of May.
