Rushcliffe Police have revealed they seized 147 cannabis plants of different sizes and stages of cultivation during their early morning raid on a house in Asher Lane last month. Rushcliffe Police report they have executed a search warrant at a house in Asher Lane this morning (Tuesday 23rd July). It was after receiving intelligence from the local community around suspicious drugs related activity at the Ruddington address. Car Crashes Into Manor Park Gates After Police Chase

A Police pursuit through Ruddington this afternoon ended up with the car the officers were following colliding with the gateway at the Churchill Drive end of Manor Park. It would seem the driver was unaware he would come across a closed gate – which brought the vehicle to an abrupt halt.  Eye witnesses saw one person from the crashed car being detained at the scene but another running off. Nottinghamshire Police report they have today arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with a series of car key burglaries and vehicle thefts. The incidents include a Ford CMax which was stolen in a burglary at a house on Packman Drive here in Ruddington at around 5.30am on Saturday 27th April. Three Arrested After Ruddington Fight

Three men have been arrested after police officers attended a report of a fight in Ruddington. Two men, aged 42 and 46, and two women, aged 42 and 39, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries. The 42-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw, cheekbone and eye socket in the assault in Easthorpe Street at around 11.55pm yesterday (Friday 29th March). Distraction Thief Arrested and Jailed!

Nottinghamshire Police report they have arrested a man on High Street in the village today (Tuesday 7th November) on suspicion of a number of recent distraction thefts against elderly people. The 29 year-old was initially detained by three quick thinking office workers after he’d approached a 77 year old woman asking for change just after she’d used the Post Office cashpoint.
