Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries – which officers believe were caused by a punch to the head. The 28-year-old was knocked unconscious following reports of a fight on Easthorpe Street just after 9.30pm last night (Saturday August 21). Flat Fire in Ruddington
A woman had to be attended by ambulance staff following a blaze at her home in Ruddington this afternoon. Crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the property on Leys Road at just before 3pm after a fire was reported in one of the flats. Appliances from West Bridgford, Highfields and London Road rushed to the scene. There have been some dramatic scenes in our village this evening (Thursday 12th November) after a van ended up on the pavement lodged between parked cars and the wall of a terraced cottage on one of Ruddington’s oldest roads.
