Ruddington Man Hospitalised By Reported Assault

Police investigations are continuing after an incident last night in our village which left a man needing hospital treatment. Emergency services were called to an address in Leys Court, Ruddington, at 9.21pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 12th October) after reports of an assault. Police tell us that the victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital, where he remains. However, his injures are not believed to be life threatening. Ruddington crime figures for last month just revealed by Rushcliffe Police show a spike in thefts, burglaries and items stolen from motor vehicles in our village – though without any criminal damage recorded this time around. Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries – which officers believe were caused by a punch to the head. The 28-year-old was knocked unconscious following reports of a fight on Easthorpe Street just after 9.30pm last night (Saturday August 21). The road was closed for a time, following the incident, to facilitate forensic investigations. Three Arrested After Ruddington Fight

Three men have been arrested after police officers attended a report of a fight in Ruddington. Two men, aged 42 and 46, and two women, aged 42 and 39, were taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries. The 42-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw, cheekbone and eye socket in the assault in Easthorpe Street at around 11.55pm yesterday (Friday 29th March).
