Village Jewellers Targeted Again

A jewellery shop in the centre of Ruddington has once again fallen victim to crime overnight. Rushcliffe Police have reported a burglary at David Richards Jewellers on Church Street in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 13th January). Criminals Target Apotheka

Police are investigating after a new restaurant & café-bar in Ruddington, which only began trading in March, was raided by thieves over the weekend. “Apotheka”, at 6 Wilford Road, was broken into early on Sunday morning, with a quantity of cash and drinks stolen. The venue is now run by Jack Robson – who originally worked for McArtney’s Catering before buying out the company in 2015 and then acquiring the former “Bar Six” business from John Noble and Lucy Would in November last year. Beware Battery Thieves!

Construction machinery was left without power and speed safety signs went dark after thieves struck again in our area at the weekend. Rushcliffe Police are still on the lookout for the voltage-loving villains who stole several batteries from equipment being used in the works on Flawforth Lane in Ruddington overnight on Sunday 22nd October.
