Cannabis Crop Was July’s Crime Coup

Rushcliffe Police have revealed they seized 147 cannabis plants of different sizes and stages of cultivation during their early morning raid on a house in Asher Lane last month. It was after receiving tip-offs from the local community around suspicious, drugs related activity at the Ruddington address. A man was arrested at the scene and has appeared in court in connection with the discovery. Statistics released on crimes reported in Ruddington through the festive period suggest that even many law-breakers were enjoying a Christmas break this year!
