Arrests Following Ruddington Car Key Burglary

Two men have been arrested in connection with a car key burglary in Ruddington. Nottinghamshire Police say: “We received a report, at 6.12pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April 2019), that a house had been broken into in Ling Crescent and the victim’s car had been stolen. The stolen vehicle was later spotted on the A46 at Leicester. Rushcliffe Police are warning residents that several motor vehicles in our village were targeted by a thief over the weekend. Officers report: “During the early hours of Sunday (20th January) a number of vehicles were entered across the Ruddington area and items stolen after the suspect had rummaged around. May Day Mercedes Theft on Musters Road

Another Ruddington property was targeted by criminals early this morning – with the householders’ executive car taken during the raid. The burglary happened on Musters Road at around 5am today (Tuesday 1st May), just before sunrise. Rushcliffe Police report that a grey Mercedes E350 Hybrid vehicle was stolen with keys taken from the property. Officers returned to the scene later this morning to carry out fingerprinting. Rushcliffe Police warn that several incidents of car crime were reported in Ruddington overnight on Monday 2nd April and Tuesday 3rd April.
