Two Men Charged Following Ruddington Car Chase

Two suspects have appeared in court following a police chase which ended with a car crash and an arrest in Ruddington. The pursuit began when officers from Nottinghamshire Police‘s Road Crime Team spotted a car which was known to them in Welbeck Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent, at around 7.50pm on Monday (10th April). The vehicle was travelling with another car which earlier had been reported stolen. Police Issue New Village Vehicle Crime Warning

Motorists in Ruddington are being asked to watch out for suspicious behaviour around their parked cars and vans after criminals struck in our village again this week. Rushcliffe Police reveal: “Patrols have been increased in the area of Ruddington following several thefts from motor vehicles and two thefts of vehicles over the Bank Holiday Weekend.” It seems many of these incidents were on our Pasture Lane estate. Car Crooks Strike Again!

Rushcliffe Police are urging us to ensure our homes are secure after another burglary and car theft in Ruddington. They say this latest crime took place over the Bank Holiday – sometime between 2pm on Sunday (6th May) and 3.45pm yesterday. The offender smashed a side double glazed door to gain entry to a house on Loughborough Road. Subsequently a dark grey Citroen Picasso was stolen using keys found in the property.
