Arrests Following Ruddington Car Key Burglary

Two men have been arrested in connection with a car key burglary in Ruddington.

Nottinghamshire Police say: “We received a report, at 6.12pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April 2019), that a house had been broken into in Ling Crescent and the victim’s car had been stolen.
The stolen vehicle was later spotted on the A46 at Leicester. Officers tracked the vehicle, assisted by the police helicicopter, as it headed towards Nottingham City Centre.”

Police then continued to follow the vehicle until it came to a halt in the St Ann’s area. The two occupants were arrested by officers after a brief chase on foot. Two men, aged 21 and 20, were detained on suspicion of burglary and remain in Police custody.
