A man is in police custody in connection with a robbery and an attempted robbery at our village supermarkets. Rushcliffe Police report that a man entered Sainsbury’s Local on Dutton’s Hill (above) at about 5.40pm yesterday (Saturday 5 October 2019). Elderly Woman Robbed in Ruddington

Ruddington residents are being warned to be on the lookout for a pair of female fraudsters after an elderly woman was conned out of a large amount of cash in our village centre earlier today (Saturday 26th January). Ruddington Street Robbery Arrests

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of a knifepoint robbery in Ruddington. Rushcliffe Police say a boy was targeted by two men in Loughborough Road, who threatened him with a knife at about 7.10pm on Tuesday (27th March). They stole a quantity of cash from him before making off. Officers located two suspects nearby and two knives were recovered. A 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man have been arrested. Machete Threat to Ruddington Householder

Nottinghamshire Police are investigating a report that a 20-year-old man was threatened with a machete whilst holding his child at his home in Ruddington. Officers were called to Leys Road at around 8.30pm on Saturday (10th March).
