Police are appealing for information following an unexpected discovery at the scene of a car crash this week. Woman Arrested Following Knife Injury in Ruddington

A woman has been arrested after a man was injured with a knife in Ruddington. Nottinghamshire Police were called to an undisclosed address in our village following reports that a man had suffered injuries to his stomach inside a house. The 43-year-old had to be taken to hospital for treatment. Officers reveal, at this stage, his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. Ruddington Supermarket Robber Jailed

A man who was arrested and charged by Rushcliffe Police in connection with two incidents separated by just ten minutes at our two Ruddington food stores last October has been sent to prison for two and a half years. 44 year-old Keith McLachlan, who admitted robbery, attempted robbery and having a bladed article, was jailed for his offences at Nottingham Crown Court.
