A woman has been arrested after a man was injured with a knife in Ruddington. Nottinghamshire Police were called to an undisclosed address in our village following reports that a man had suffered injuries to his stomach inside a house. The 43-year-old had to be taken to hospital for treatment. Officers reveal, at this stage, his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. Patrons enjoying a pleasant Saturday night out at a Ruddington pub found themselves surrounded by police and emergency services! Officers sped to The Red Heart on Easthorpe Street at around 9.20pm, and cordoned off the road, after a glass bottle was believed to have been thrown at a man in a fight – which left him nursing a neck wound.
