Nottinghamshire Police have launched an appeal for information after a fight broke out between a group of women inside one of our village pubs. Officers were called to The Red Lion on Easthorpe Street last Friday night (10th February) at around 11.30pm when it was reported seven women were fighting and throwing glasses at each other. Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries – which officers believe were caused by a punch to the head. The 28-year-old was knocked unconscious following reports of a fight on Easthorpe Street just after 9.30pm last night (Saturday August 21). The road was closed for a time, following the incident, to facilitate forensic investigations. Police say they’ve arrested two men after responding to reports of men fighting with weapons in our village – and are now appealing for witnesses. Officers were called to the incident on Sellars Avenue in Ruddington at just after 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 25th March). One man is said to have suffered minor injuries.
