A mini digger which was stolen from a Ruddington garden last night has been recovered by Nottinghamshire Police after it was spotted heading towards Newark. Brazen thieves broke down security fencing at the property on Loughborough Road, reversed in their van, and loaded on the machinery before making off. It’s been announced that the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund is opening next week – on Tuesday May 4th. This will be the seventh time local clubs, charities and organisations have been invited to apply for funding raised by Co-operative members. Mere Way Junction Roadworks Extended Again

Major Ruddington roadworks which have already been causing peak time headaches for motorists for months are being extended by at least another three weeks. The work on Loughborough Road at the Mere Way roundabout to create a suitable access for the new William Davis Homes development on former Green Belt farmland began in September 2020.
