Brace Yourself For More Delays and Disruption!

Drivers are being warned to expect major disruption for up to three days – as works take place in Ruddington village centre. Residents, business-people, commuters and visitors will all be affected – as road closures, temporary traffic lights and parking restrictions are introduced. Carriageway resurfacing by Via East Midlands is taking place on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council on Charles Street and Parkyns Street. Weather permitting, the road resurfacing work which did not get completed on one of Ruddington’s estates, due to ice and snow, will finally be done TOMORROW (Thursday 12th April). Residents in the Brookside Road area of Ruddington were left bewildered after Nottinghamshire County Council‘s contractors upped and left before completing the promised and desperately needed work on their crumbling roads.
