Residents and businesses along Camelot Street, Woodhouse Gardens, Marl Close and the Brookside Road estate can breathe a sigh of relief at the news their sole access road will only be left ‘in limbo’ for a couple of weeks – after resurfacing work was suddenly and rather dramatically suspended last Saturday. Ruddington Resurfacing Suspended After Workers ‘Abused’

Just hours after the long awaited resurfacing work began on Camelot Street this morning, contractors called a halt and went home – citing dangerous behaviour and abuse from some motorists. As the first Ruddington roadworks of 2020 begin, motorists who use a single access village centre road to get to the cemetery or on to their premises are being warned of disruption this week.
