Expect Kirk Lane Delays

Motorists are facing peak time delays on one of Ruddington’s busiest routes up until this weekend. A burst water main today (28th August) on Kirk Lane means that 24-hour two-way temporary traffic signals have been put in place to control traffic whilst Severn Trent Water carries out repairs to the pipe beneath the road. Village Gridlock!

Ruddington residents have been looking at their High Street with despair this morning after yet another set of unannounced four-way temporary traffic lights appeared! It was known that parking restrictions were to be put into place from 8am today (Sunday September the 3rd) until 5pm on Sunday the 17th of September to allow work to be carried out on the High Street side of Ruddington Fish Bar (their former pizza takeaway entrance) to re-render the walls.
