Ruddington’s Summer Roadworks

Despite the continuing construction of four major new housing developments in Ruddington, no very disruptive roadworks are planned around our village during the summer of 2022 so far.

Nevertheless, there are several sets of highway works liable to cause some inconvenience and delays for village motorists over the coming weeks. These include two total closures of Dutton’s Hill this July for more gas work. Although both of these ‘Prohibition of Driving’ notices are scheduled only for Sundays, traffic cutting through the estate to avoid a longer diversionary route is liable to result in further frustration for residents along St John’s Road and St Mary’s Crescent in particular.

The dates to note are:-

Further work at the Mere Way Roundabout is liable to cause more delays along Loughborough Road for two weeks
Dutton’s Hill will be closed again for two Sundays in July

Residents and visitors should anticipate delays for drivers, and also passengers using Kinchbus 9, CT4N Services 22 & 23 & Nottingham City Transport’s Navy 3 & Green 10C/10X Rushcliffe Country Park/Ruddington Fields buses and the NottsBus Connect Service 863, during some of these works.

{NOTE: The details above are subject to potential change and updates due to the weather and other operational reasons. RUDDINGTON.info will provide timely revisions, here on our website, whenever we can.  LAST UPDATE: Sunday 19th June 2022}
