Water Leak Disrupts High Street

Ruddington drivers, traders and shoppers are being warned they may face unexpected disruption in our village centre – following a burst water main today.

‘No Parking’ restrictions and four-way temporary traffic signals have been put in place at the junction of Church Street and Easthorpe Street whilst Severn Trent Water identifies and repairs the leak.

It’s being anticipated the problem could take until this Wednesday 18th May*, to fix – although Severn Trent is hoping to complete its work sooner.

Meantime, residents and visitors can expect the disruption to continue for motorists, and also to CT4N Services 22 & 23, Nottingham City Transport’s Navy 3 & Green 10C/10X and NottsBus Connect Service 863 buses during this work.

*UPDATE TUE 17th MAY: We’re pleased to report the leak has now been repaired and the temporary lights and restrictions removed.
