Evans Pharmacy Has Moved!

Evans Pharmacy has moved to Charles Street, next door to Ruddington Library. The village pharmacy can now be found in new, purpose-built premises on the side of Dairy Cottage. The relocated Ruddington shop offers better accessibility for all, including a wheelchair ramp. It is now closer to the two GP surgeries and to the car parks within our village. There is also a large, purpose built, soundproof, consultation room with hand wash facilities. The move to bigger premises came about as a result of the increased number of services that…

Ruddington’s New Photo Printing Service

Whilst many people nowadays use their smartphones, tablets or computer displays for digitally viewing photographs, it’s always nice to have the option to print them out. This can be to share them with others who’re not into the new technology, pass pictures around in a more traditional way or put them into a photo frame for the mantlepiece. For Ruddingtonians who wish to do this in top quality, Saul Isaac Photography has just launched a brand new photo printing facility. The successful business is run by village residents Michelle and Carl Amess…

Ruddington’s Own ‘Fame’ School

The rather understated purple doorway leading into Number 7, Charles Street, may not seem quite as salubrious as the famous ‘High School of Performing Arts’ in New York City did back in the ’80s. But Ruddington’s ‘Freedom Dance & Performance’ has always aimed big – and consequently has found perhaps rather more than its fair share of ‘Fame’ along the way!? Principal Stacey Green is a fully qualified I.S.T.D teacher with years of experience both as a performer and choreographer. She launched ‘Freedom’ in our village in 2002 with the motto “Training tomorrow’s stars…
