Visitors to this year’s Summer Fayre were delighted to find that Ruddington’s very own traditional sweet shop has reopened – just a couple of doors’ down from where it was before! This morning customers are busy queuing up at 12, High Street to collect their prescriptions and buy their medicines – just like generations of Ruddingtonians before them over the past 114 years. New Pharmacy Approved

Ruddington’s famous chemist’s shop WILL soon be moving from its historic home on High Street – after permission was granted by Rushcliffe planners for a move to larger, purpose-built premises nearby. Evans Pharmacy has received approval for its new, state-of-the-art building at 11 Charles Street with revised plans drawn up by Nottingham’s Allan Joyce Architects.
