Village transport operators have revealed a Hallowe’en scare for passengers – fare increases for most of their tickets from this Sunday, October 31st. Ruddington bus users will find the cost of their journeys increasing on Nottingham City Transport (NCT) Navy 3 and Green 10/ 10C/10X routes and on CT4N Services 22 & 23. Both operators say the fare rises are necessary to balance the books against increased operating costs and reduced government COVID funding for the bus industry. Police Car Rammed During Ruddington Pursuit

There were dramatic scenes in Ruddington last night when a police chase ended up in a village centre cul-de-sac. An eye witness reported to RUDDINGTON.info that an unmarked police car followed a vehicle into St Peter’s Crescent, but the driver didn’t realise it was a dead end. Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed that a vehicle was followed into Shaw Street before the driver stopped, got out and spoke to the officer. New proposals to resolve access issues for residents in a Ruddington cul-de-sac, whilst still enabling some parking there for those who need it, have been put out for consultation. Village residents who need to visit Ruddington’s nearest household waste and recycling centre will no longer have to book beforehand to do so as of next month.
