Village Councillors are to revisit the possibility of charging for parking in their Church Street Car Park following an approach from our Co-op. Whilst parking there is currently free and unlimited, the foodstore’s proposal – suggesting two possible options – is on the agenda for Tuesday night’s Ruddington Parish Council Meeting (12th October). It’s been announced that roadworks responsible for long delays at the Loughborough Road/Flawforth Lane junction will NOT be completed by this Friday (27th August) as originally planned*. Hundreds Attend Skate Park’s Official Opening

This weekend’s official opening of Ruddington’s new skate park has been hailed a great success by organisers – after people of all ages and abilities flocked to the special sessions arranged for its launch at Rushcliffe Country Park yesterday (Saturday 14th August).
