Eagle-eyed Ruddingtonians will already have spotted the appearance of some new, knitted creations around our village – courtesy of the now famous ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’. New Ruddington Defibrillator

Residents in the area around Musters Road and in the new Wilbur Chase development now have much easier access to a piece of potentially life saving equipment – thanks to an initiative by Ruddington Baptist Church. Water Leak Disrupts High Street

Ruddington drivers, traders and shoppers are being warned they may face unexpected disruption in our village centre – following a burst water main today. ‘No Parking’ restrictions and four-way temporary traffic signals have been put in place at the junction of Church Street and Easthorpe Street whilst Severn Trent Water identifies and repairs the leak. Woman Arrested Following Knife Injury in Ruddington

A woman has been arrested after a man was injured with a knife in Ruddington. Nottinghamshire Police were called to an undisclosed address in our village following reports that a man had suffered injuries to his stomach inside a house. The 43-year-old had to be taken to hospital for treatment. Officers reveal, at this stage, his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. Local cyclists are being invited to our village centre this weekend for a FREE bike security marking and registering session.
