The Ruddington branch of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is among those in the Borough set to benefit from extra cash this year thanks to the current Mayor of Rushcliffe. Public displays created and installed in our village by ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’ – to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III – have been targeted for a second time. Ruddington Graffiti Artist’s Royal Tribute

A professional graffiti artist in our village is among many who have provided some wonderful extra colour for Ruddington’s celebrations of Her Majesty’s seventy years on the throne. The latest work from ‘Creed’ a.k.a. Ainsley Burton (pictured above with sons Harry and Isaac) can be found on the former changing room block at Sellors’ Playing Field – one of several he has been asked to do there over recent years. With events being held throughout Ruddington to mark The Queen’s 70 years on the throne, our two village schools wanted to make sure their pupils didn’t miss out because of the holiday. The impressive result of months of planning and knitting was revealed today – as Ruddington prepares to celebrate the long Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend in style. A provisional programme of events has been revealed for Ruddington’s celebrations of Her Majesty the Queen’s seventy years on the throne this summer.
