New Parking Restrictions Start Soon

Residents and visitors wishing to park in the Easthorpe Street area of Ruddington will soon have fewer options – due to new parking prohibitions being introduced along a residential side road. Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) has revealed its work to paint new double yellow lines all along the eastern side and top turning circle of Cumberland Close is scheduled to take place from March 7th to 9th. It’s been revealed shoppers will soon have another retail option in our village thanks to Ruddington Service Station. Owner EG Group has confirmed to RUDDINGTON.info that its recently expanded premises along Loughborough Road will soon become home to ‘ASDA On The Move’.  This will replace the current SPAR shop. Helping Survivors of Domestic Abuse

A free training course is being held this week in Ruddington to help our community support survivors of domestic violence. It’s one of a series of similar sessions across Rushcliffe and is taking place at 6pm on Friday 25th February in St Peter’s Rooms. The course is open to anyone who works or volunteers in retail premises, a school, place of worship, hospitality or healthcare setting.
