The Bard is Back!

Following the success of their debut ‘al fresco’ appearance in our village over the summer, Nottingham Shakespeare Company have announced they’re returning to Ruddington early in the New Year to treat us to their next production by The Bard. What’s Happening With The White Horse Car Park?

A Ruddington pub boss says he was ‘shocked’ that Parish Councillors did not wish to renew a popular, long-running scheme to provide much needed extra parking in our village centre. To address the increasing difficulty in finding a space, an agreement was reached back in 2014 between Ruddington Parish Council (RPC) and The White Horse Inn that the left hand side of their car park could be used by village shoppers from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. This has been the case until recently – when RUDDINGTON.info was alerted…
