After the madness of the festive period, it’s quite likely you’ll want to de-stress a little. Maybe you’ll even need a bit of help re-focusing your life into 2020? Ruddington mindfulness teacher Jakki Pritchard is now well established with her Tuesday evenings in the Old Chapel at the Framework Knitters’ Museum – where she’s already run five mindfulness courses. There’s now a sixth programme there, early in the New Year, which will be her seventh in our village. Jakki says: “The Old Chapel is a perfect space to practice mindfulness, it has…

Nottingham City Transport is advising passengers of changes to its Green 10 service for almost three weeks whilst Nottinghamshire County Council carries out resurfacing work on part of the A60 – including Trent Bridge and Loughborough Road. This work will mean the closure of that part of the A60 to all traffic and, as a result, its Navy and Green line services will need to be diverted from Monday 15th July 2019 until Thursday 1st August inclusive between 7.00pm and 5.00am each night. Ironically, the resulting “circular” diversion will see off-peak buses running from Ruddington village centre down Wilford Road – a route which lost its…

Nottingham City Transport is reminding passengers there’ll be changes to some of its services from this weekend. However, in terms of our Ruddington buses, only the Green 10 will see slight adjustments to its timetable. Due to increased traffic on the route, from Tuesday 29th May there’s a revised weekday peak schedule being introduced “to improve reliability”.
