Normal Bus Services Resume

Ruddington bus passengers are welcoming the news that the services from our main village operator will revert to their previous levels later this month. Nottingham City Transport (NCT) cut back its operations on January 10th citing the rising number of Coronavirus cases and a shortage of bus drivers. However, with driver availability improving considerably, and the shortfall now less than half of the 10% NCT was experiencing, it’s announced that Friday 18th February 2022 will be the last day it needs to operate its “enhanced Saturday timetable” on weekdays. Previous Monday…

Ruddington Bus Service Changes

Nottingham City Transport is reminding passengers there’ll be changes to some of its services from this weekend. However, in terms of our Ruddington buses, only the Green 10 will see slight adjustments to its timetable. Due to increased traffic on the route, from Tuesday 29th May there’s a revised weekday peak schedule being introduced “to improve reliability”. If you usually catch the Green 10/10C/10X between Rushcliffe Business Park and the City, or vice versa, on Mondays to Fridays between 6.00am and 8.00am it’d be wise to check for new departure and arrival times before…

Nottingham City Transport is set to enhance its Navy 3 service to Ruddington later this month. It’s part of a raft of changes to the Clifton bus network following an in-depth review of the impact of the new tram line running in the area. In some parts this has reduced bus use by over 30%. But the changes to be implemented on the 29th of January are good news for Ruddington bus passengers – who’ll actually benefit from an improved service.  The Navy 3 will have a revised timetable, with Monday to Saturday…
