Villagers are being asked to offer support to one of Ruddington’s most famous residents – who is out of action again following an accident earlier this week. Dave Bartram is back in the Queens Medical Centre with broken ribs and a suspected broken sternum after the incident – reported by Nottinghamshire Live on Friday to be a car crash in Ruddington last Monday. Roadworks on High Street and Ashworth Avenue

Ruddington’s motorists are being warned to brace themselves for more autumn disruption as our raft of recent village roadworks continues over the next couple of weeks. From 6am this Saturday 26th October until 8pm Sunday 27th October, work by Western Power Distribution on High Street means double yellow lines and parking places between its junctions with Charles Street and Church Street will be unavailable. Temporary “No Waiting and No Loading at Any Time” restrictions will be in force whilst manually controlled two-way traffic signals are liable to cause delays for both motorists and Nottingham City…

Fayre Grand!

Ruddington’s 2016 Christmas Fayre held on Saturday the 3rd of December has been hailed another success by most of the visitors and village businesses involved. Organised by Ruddington Parish Council, it involved the closure of High Street throughout the day to accommodate numerous undercover street stalls in two large marquees, food and drink sellers, Keyworth & Ruddington Rotary‘s Father Christmas in his sleigh and even an MC!
