Police say they’ve arrested two men after responding to reports of men fighting with weapons in our village – and are now appealing for witnesses. Officers were called to the incident on Sellars Avenue in Ruddington at just after 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 25th March). One man is said to have suffered minor injuries. The family which owns a village property damaged during a blaze at the weekend has thanked those who reported the fire and prevented more serious damage.
