Following the announcement that Ruddington will be put into England’s ‘new’ highest level of COVID-19 restrictions to start 2021, our village’s main bus operator says the latest change will not alter the existing schedules of either its Navy 3 or Green 10 services. In another blow for Ruddington’s hospitality venues, The Government has decided the whole of Nottinghamshire will retain Tier 3 ‘very high alert’ status throughout December. Hospitality Hit Hardest by ‘Return’ to Tier 3

Today’s news that Ruddington will fall back under Tier 3 restrictions when the current ‘lockdown’ ends has not come as a great surprise to residents and traders. Safety concerns have been raised by local residents after a significant recent increase in visitors attempting to use Asher Lane to park for Rushcliffe Country Park. Christmas & New Year Buses

Ruddington’s main public transport operator has announced its expected levels of service over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Nottingham City Transport (NCT) says these are based on current Government restrictions, guidance and funding, so they may be revised if there is a change to any of these in the meantime.
