A suspect from our village has appeared in court after Nottinghamshire Police found multiple wraps of crack cocaine when they raided a house. Officers made the discovery when they executed a warrant at a property in Middle Furlong Gardens, The Meadows, Nottingham, on Friday (17th November) at around 2.25pm. As well as the Class A drugs, it’s reported the officers also found a quantity of cannabis, mobile phones and weighing scales in the kitchen of the address. Police Appeal Following Ruddington Drugs Haul

Rushcliffe Police are asking any villagers with further information to come forward following the arrest in Ruddington of two men with a large quantity of drugs. Officers were called to Asher Lane at around 11.15am last Wednesday, 4th October, following reports a car was being driven across farming land before becoming stuck. Two police patrol cars boxed the vehicle in as it attempted to leave the field. When the officers carried out a search they discovered a large amount of cannabis bagged up inside the vehicle. Man Arrested and Stolen Ruddington Car Recovered

A man has been arrested after police spotted and followed a car which was suspected of being stolen. Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s operational support unit noticed that a Vauxhall Astra, which was travelling in the Clifton area during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 1 October 2022), was displaying false number plates. The driver then tried to evade police and failed to stop. A short time later the car came to a halt in Village Road and a man was detained. A village based pharmaceutical specialist, which employs almost 400 people at Ruddington Fields Business Park, has just taken over another UK based drug firm for an undisclosed sum. Auto Crime Dominates Ruddington Offences

New figures just released show that vehicle crime was again the most prevalent problem in our village during May 2020 – even though the total number of offences logged by Rushcliffe Police was lower than the month before. Just ten Ruddington incidents were reported to local officers during the whole of May – compared with thirteen in April. Rushcliffe Police have revealed they seized 147 cannabis plants of different sizes and stages of cultivation during their early morning raid on a house in Asher Lane last month. Rushcliffe Police report they have executed a search warrant at a house in Asher Lane this morning (Tuesday 23rd July). It was after receiving intelligence from the local community around suspicious drugs related activity at the Ruddington address.
