A suspect from our village has appeared in court after Nottinghamshire Police found multiple wraps of crack cocaine when they raided a house. Officers made the discovery when they executed a warrant at a property in Middle Furlong Gardens, The Meadows, Nottingham, on Friday (17th November) at around 2.25pm. Nottinghamshire Police have revealed two suspects were arrested in our village within the space of a few minutes this week thanks to a new crackdown on car thefts. A man has been charged in connection with last week’s flat fire in Ruddington. Emergency services were called to Dunblane Road at 9.35pm on Thursday 12th October after concerns were raised for a man’s safety. Officers arrived and evacuated a number of residents after flames were seen coming from a first-floor flat. Rushcliffe Police are asking any villagers with further information to come forward following the arrest in Ruddington of two men with a large quantity of drugs.
