An old age pensioner in Ruddington is among those thanking a big hearted but anonymous donor after yet more ‘random acts of kindness’ this Christmas. For the fourth year in a row in our village, envelopes each stuffed with £100 in £20 notes landed on a handful of residents’ doormats on December 24th, marked simply with the words ‘Random Act of Kindness’. Big hearted business owners in Ruddington have given nine local nurses a Christmas gift they won’t forget – a hamper filled with festive goodies from over a dozen of our village shops.
