Motorists who usually use Packman Drive to get in and out of Ruddington are being advised to use an alternative route for the next few days. From Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th February a new water connection by Severn Trent will mean 24-hour three-way traffic signals in use on Packman Drive at its junction with Ling Crescent. There have been some dramatic scenes in our village this evening (Thursday 12th November) after a van ended up on the pavement lodged between parked cars and the wall of a terraced cottage on one of Ruddington’s oldest roads.
