Car Parking Charges Return at Country Park

After six weeks of visitors being able to enjoy FREE parking since the partial reopening of Ruddington’s country park facilities to visitors, Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has announced its charges will resume soon. With the further, recent Government easing of COVID-19 Coronavirus restrictions, from Monday June 29th, the pay-and-display rate of £1 per day will be reintroduced – allowing a maximum 8 hour stay. Facial Coverings on Public Transport Become Compulsory

Monday 15th June 2020 is the date when a further easing of the Government’s COVID-19 ‘lockdown’ restrictions means non-essential shops in Ruddington are permitted to reopen. However, it’s also the day that wearing a facial covering becomes mandatory on all public transport – including Ruddington’s Green 10 (and soon the Navy 3) buses run by Nottingham City Transport. The Village Market Returns!

Ruddington’s popular, monthly market will be back this July – after being suspended for the past three months due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. Now that Government ‘lockdown’ restrictions are being eased, its organisers Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP) have decided it will be safe and practical to restart Ruddington Village Market on Saturday July 4th – albeit initially with fewer stalls and a new location to enable ‘social distancing’ at the event. Ruddington’s NCT Buses to Resume Normal Service Soon

Nottingham City Transport has set a date of Sunday June 28th to return to normal timetables on most of its buses – following this unprecedented period when only ‘core’ services are running due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus ‘lockdown’.
