A Sign of Better Times

Eagle-eyed travellers entering Ruddington this week may already have spotted a subtle new addition to our village gateway signs – indicating that things should be starting to get back to normal. Village Market Cancelled Until Easter

Organisers of our monthly Ruddington Village Market have announced that the popular event will be put on hold until April 3rd – Easter Saturday. Christmas Market Cancelled

It’s been announced that Ruddington’s 2020 Christmas Market and Fayre has had to be called off due to continuing concerns about COVID-19. Mark Pinks of RVCP’s Market Team admits: “It’s going to be different for a while. One of the best…

Visit Our ‘Virtual’ Village Market!

After celebrating its first anniversary in February 2020, and continuing as scheduled in March, Ruddington’s popular Village Market was then cancelled for April – until further notice – as the threat of COVID-19 Coronavirus loomed large in the UK. Organisers Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP) decided to suspend the monthly event in the interests of public health and safety – even before the approaching pandemic prompted the Government’s closure of restaurants and pubs, such as market venue The White Horse – which would have made holding it impossible anyway. However, for those…
