Rushcliffe Borough Council has has now sealed off the play area at Rushcliffe Country Park until further notice. The closure – which came into force at 3pm today (Monday 23rd March) – is in light of the rapid spread of the potentially lethal COVID-19 Coronavirus across our region. Promoters have announced the postponement of this weekend’s Rushcliffe 10K & Running Festival – which was due to take place in Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday (1st March 2020). Ruddington’s two most fought-against Green Belt housing developments are up for discussion by Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) planners this Thursday. Posh New Gate For Private Estate

A driver who was fleeing from police through Ruddington last summer, before being brought to an abrupt halt by an unexpected closed gate, has unwittingly been responsible for a much more attractive replacement!
