Do you enjoy running and socialising?  If so, a new, free-to-join group of like-minded Ruddingtonians would love to see you. Ruddington Running Club was started by 29-year-old villager Jack Simkins in 2023 but has only been active since the start of this year. Green Memory Café to Continue

After successfully trialling the idea a couple of months’ ago, organisers of a new initiative in Ruddington for people living with memory loss (and their carers) is set to be held here every two months. Rushcliffe Green Memory Café Launches

This month sees the start of a brand new initiative in Ruddington for people living with memory loss and their carers. The ‘Green Memory Café’ is being launched at Rushcliffe Country Park on the afternoon of Wednesday 21st June in the newly refurbished Visitor Centre by the lake. You’re invited along to experience nature based activities, short walks or simply to relax, socialise and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Welcome Boost to Coffee Club’s Coffers

A weekly, Ruddington coffee club which helps to reduce loneliness and social isolation amongst over 55s, has received support from a ‘Reach Rushcliffe’ grant, enabling the group to grow and flourish. Older villagers are invited to meet new people and enjoy refreshments in a relaxed and friendly setting at the ‘Wednesday Morning Coffee Club’ in St Peter’s Rooms – which also provides a warm space to vulnerable residents in a safe environment. It takes place every week between 10am and midday and anyone aged 55 and above is welcome to walk in…
