As the new academic year begins in Nottinghamshire, parents of children at Ruddington’s two schools are being reminded of a fun, healthy, safe and environmentally friendly way you can now get your kids to classes. ‘Ruddington Walking Bus’ Trial This Week

Last summer we revealed that a ‘Walking Bus’ was being proposed for Ruddington. After a survey was carried out, and followed up with two information evenings, it was decided there was enough interest and support to test out the idea in our village. ‘Walking Bus’ Proposed for Ruddington

A fun, healthy, safe and environmentally friendly way for children to get to our village schools is being suggested for pupils in Ruddington. A “Walking Bus” is a form of student transport for school kids who, chaperoned by adults, walk to school along a set route, in much the same way a school bus might drive them there.
