The speed checks follow a meeting last week at the Ruddington Arms organised by our MP Ruth Edwards with Rushcliffe Police Inspector Rob Lawton and Ruddington Beat Officer PC Kai Kemish. Ruddington Residents Air Crime Concerns

With Ruddington’s reported crime rate more than doubling during April*, this week village residents had the opportunity to meet up and discuss the issue of policing our village with Rushcliffe MP Ruth Edwards and representatives from Nottinghamshire Police. It follows the distribution of a ‘Ruddington Crime Survey’ to all households here last September asking villagers to give our views on crime and policing in our community. Businesses and individuals from Ruddington are showing their solidarity with the people of Ukraine by supporting a local march at the end of this month. Police Issue New Village Vehicle Crime Warning

Motorists in Ruddington are being asked to watch out for suspicious behaviour around their parked cars and vans after criminals struck in our village again this week. Rushcliffe Police reveal: “Patrols have been increased in the area of Ruddington following several thefts from motor vehicles and two thefts of vehicles over the Bank Holiday Weekend.” It seems many of these incidents were on our Pasture Lane estate.
