New Year, Longer Market!

As Ruddington Village Market prepares to celebrate its fourth birthday, the team behind it has revealed visitors will have even more time to browse the many stalls in 2023. From February 4th onwards, our monthly market on The Green will open from 9.00am all the way through to 2.00pm – an hour and a half longer than previously. It’s envisaged there will still be around seventy independent stalls on the first Saturday of each month, comprising businesses from the village plus many visiting traders. New Museum Manager Announced

Following the stepping back of former manager and curator Jim Grevatte, Ruddington’s Framework Knitters’ Museum has just revealed its latest boss. After completing “a competitive recruitment process” for their new ‘Operations Manager’ role, the venues’ Trustees say they are “delighted” to announce that Ruddington resident Sarah Godfrey has been appointed. Sarah is already well known for her extensive community work within our village. Charity Shop’s New Manager

Did you know that our village’s newest charity shop now has a new face at the helm? Stephanie Reed took over as the manager of Ruddington’s Children’s Society branch late last year. The fundraising outlet on the corner of High Street and Easthorpe Street first opened its doors in March 2018. The charity is pleased to report that, since then, it has had a good response for donations and is now able stand on its own two feet with stock mostly donated by local people. Money raised at The Children’s Society’s shop here in Ruddington…
