The team behind the Ruddy Good Loyalty Card and Ruddington Village Market has just won the Celebrating Rushcliffe Award for ‘Community Group of the Year’ 2019. Ruddington Village Centre Partnership (RVCP), which only formed in April 2018, was recognised for galvanising village centre businesses into more initiatives to drive footfall to traders. Ruddington Makers’ Night Returns

Following the success of the debut event in June, the organisers of Ruddington Village Market are putting on a second ‘Makers Night’ for Christmas, a special festive craft evening across three main village venues and some of our high street shops. When Nottingham legend Dave ‘The Cockleman’ Bartram dragged himself out in the pouring rain this morning to ply his trade at November’s Village Market, his visit turned out to be a little more rewarding than he’d expected! An informal networking event which has been bringing business people together in our village for over eight years has announced another change of venue. Ruddington can once again boast a trendy drinking venue – now a new bar called The Next Episode has opened its doors in our village.
