Ruddington Business Partnership is a monthly networking event held at The Ruddington Arms on Wilford Road. Organisers Rushcliffe Business Partnership say it’s a great way to build relationships with local business, individuals and tradespeople who attend from our village, from across Rushcliffe and, indeed, from right across the East Midlands. These include designers, engineers, architects, social media experts, photographers, marketing gurus, accountants, HR specialists, financial advisors and more. Usually representatives from Rushcliffe Borough Council are there, too. It’s completely FREE to attend, and you can just turn up. With all the excitement of the King’s Coronation, and its associated events here in Ruddington, plus ‘The Big Sing’, it might have escaped your attention that Ruddington’s famous annual beer and cider festival is ALSO happening this month? ‘Ruddfest 2023’ runs from Thursday 25th May until Sunday 28th May – just before the Spring Bank Holiday. The dates now move slightly each year, due to Ruddington Village Market being on The Green on the first Saturday of each month. Ruddington can once again boast a trendy drinking venue – now a new bar called The Next Episode has opened its doors in our village. But it’s rather MORE than a bar, since it’s been launched by The Ruddy Good Pub Company – alias Mark and Sarah Anderson from The Ruddington Arms. This is now the third outlet in their expanding hospitality empire – after they relaunched The White Lion at Bingham in 2017.
