Platinum Jubilee Yarn Bomb!

Eagle-eyed Ruddingtonians will already have spotted the appearance of some new, knitted creations around our village – courtesy of the now famous ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’. Following a similar ‘Yarn Bomb’ at Christmas, and one or two changing pillar box toppers outside the Co-op before and after that, marking topical events, the ‘Ninjas’ have been very busy getting ready to celebrate the long Queen’s ‘Platinum Jubilee’ weekend next month. Residents in the area around Musters Road and in the new Wilbur Chase development now have much easier access to a piece of potentially life saving equipment – thanks to an initiative by Ruddington Baptist Church. Free Cycle Security Marking & Registration in Ruddington

Local cyclists are being invited to our village centre this weekend for a FREE bike security marking and registering session. It’s being run by Rushcliffe Borough Council’s ‘Community Safety’ Team and Nottinghamshire Police to assist Ruddington cycle owners with measures to deter thieves.
