This Ruddington group is open to all and no expertise is required! Ruddington Card Making & Craft Group meet from 10am to 12-noon at St Peter’s Rooms, on the first & third Mondays of the month – except not in the month of August. For Ruddington horticulturists who enjoy showing others what we’ve grown, whether at home or in our allotment, September is always keenly anticipated. It’s the month when green-fingered residents of all ages gather for the annual ‘Village Horticultural Show’ organised by Ruddington Gardeners’ Association (RGA). This year it’s happening on Saturday 16th September in St Peter’s Rooms and entry is still FREE for everyone. Car Boot Sale & Summer Fair

Head along for a family day out! The annual event at St Peter’s Junior School along Ashworth Avenue in Ruddington is on Saturday 8th July from 10.30am to 1pm. The 2023 Car Boot Sale & Summer Fair is put on by the Friends of School group which is a registered charity. This is an annual, traditional, family event. Ruddington ‘Wakes’ dates back over one hundred years, when the St Peter’s Feast was the start of the school holidays in the village (around the 29th of June). For 2022, the rides and attractions open at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th and from 2pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June.
