Ruddington’s Parkrun Returns

Excitement is mounting amongst younger children from our village (and beyond) that Rushcliffe Junior Parkrun will be back from Sunday April 11th at 9.00am! The usually weekly event in Ruddington’s Country Park has been cancelled for just over a year due to the Coronavirus pandemic – which, of course, led to Government restrictions on large gatherings. Cars Vandalised at Elms Park

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a number of cars were deliberately damaged outside properties along Elms Park. Furious home owners on the Ruddington estate found long scratch marks had appeared on their vehicles yesterday {1st April}. Post Office Closure

The Easter break will be slightly longer than usual for one of our village traders.  Ruddington Post Office at 4, High Street will be shut from 5.30pm today (Thursday April 1st) until 9.00am on Tuesday. Owner Nikki Wright explains: “This weekend we are closed temporarily for some building work which we are having done. This will make our working environment easier”.
