Salvation Army Christmas Concert

Getting Festive at Ruddington Christmas Market

The team behind Ruddington’s popular monthly market is ready to pull out all the festive stops next Saturday, as ‘Ruddington Village Christmas Market’ returns for 2022. The first-ever ‘Rudd Award’ winners were announced at a special ceremony at St Peter’s Church last night {Friday 18th November}, with a raft of Ruddington favourites celebrated for their contribution to the local community. “Come and Sing” Messiah evening

You’re invited to “come along to sing through Handel’s masterpiece in our time-honoured tradition” says the Ruddington and District Choral Society (RDCS). There’s no obligation to sing, of course, you can just listen! This “Come and Sing” Messiah evening is back by popular demand! “In praise and remembrance” is the Ruddington and District Choral Society Autumn Concert. It will have its chamber orchestra and invited soloists on Saturday 19th November in St Peter’s Church. Ruddington Remembers

A new poppy display by the now famous ‘Ruddington Yarn Ninjas’ is among the ways our village is paying its respects this year to those who gave their lives to defend our country. Adorning the railings in front of St Peter’s Church, near the War Memorial, the Ninjas have had a little extra help creating this one. New Chair Gets Ready For Remembrance

As Ruddington prepares for the annual Royal British Legion Parade and Service of Remembrance at our War Memorial, on Sunday 13th November 2022, the Ruddington and District Branch has a new Chairman. Remembrance Sunday

Come along to The Royal British Legion’s Parade and Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Ruddington – weather permitting – on Sunday 13th November. A parade of local organisations will march to the War Memorial before the service starts at 10.45am on Sunday 13th November. The Last Post will be played at 11am.
